Kei Nishikori

Kei Nishikori will be hoping to put an inconsistent season behind him with an improved showing at Wimbledon.

The Japanese player has suffered form and fitness issues throughout 2016, with his highlight being a second career Masters final with his run in Miami.

As well as running into the world's best on frequent occasions, injuries have hampered his hopes, most recently forcing him to withdraw from Halle and hindering his French Open fourth round defeat to Richard Gasquet.
In January at the Australian Open, the first Grand Slam of 2016, Nishikori fell at the quarter-final stage, one of four defeats to world number one Djokovic this season.
His best Grand Slam result remains a 2014 runners-up spot at the US Open and at Wimbledon he has never gone beyond the fourth round with last year's bid ended by a calf injury in the second round.
